Sindh Institute of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (SIPM&R), under the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Government of Sindh, has posted a fresh, smaller-scale hiring notice. This one focuses on just two specialized clinical support roles, both on a contractual basis.
If this institute’s name sounds familiar, that’s because SIPM&R ran a much larger recruitment drive earlier this year covering faculty and administrative posts. This ad is separate and unrelated to that one — it’s a distinct advertisement specifically for therapy and lab support staff.
Available Positions
Speech Language Therapist (Contractual Basis, Merit Sindh)
- Qualification: BS/MA/MS in Speech Therapy from an HEC-recognized university, along with an accreditation certificate. Diploma holders don’t qualify for this post.
- Experience: One year at a tertiary care hospital, autonomous or semi-autonomous body, Government of Sindh institution, or reputable private institution is preferred. However, fresh candidates can also apply.
Lab Coordinator (Contractual Basis, Merit Sindh)
- Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an HEC-recognized university
- Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience in an autonomous, semi-autonomous body, Government of Sindh institution, or reputable private institution
Eligibility and General Guidelines
Only Sindh domicile holders can apply for either post. Candidates with prior public-sector experience will get preference during evaluation.
If you’re already working in a government role, you’ll need to apply through the proper departmental channel. Incomplete applications won’t get any consideration, so double-check your document set before submitting.
Documents and Application Fee
Every application needs a pay order of Rs. 1,500 (non-refundable), made in favor of Sindh Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. This applies specifically when applying against an advertised post.
All educational documents must carry attestation from both the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and the Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC). Send document copies through courier along with your current CV.
