District Education Officer (Primary) Keamari Jobs 2026

The Office of the District Education Officer (Primary), District Keamari, under the School Education & Literacy Department, Government of Sindh, has announced a single vacancy. This one comes with an unusual eligibility twist worth reading carefully before you prepare an application.

Candidates need to have already cleared the Graduation/Intermediate/Matriculation Test conducted by the IBA Sukkur Testing Service (STS). So this isn’t a case of applying and then sitting a test later. You need the STS certificate in hand first, along with domicile and Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) of District Keamari.

Available Position

Record Keeper (BPS-05) — 1 vacancy

  • Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board, with a typing speed of 30 words per minute
  • Age limit: 21 to 28 years

The ad also notes that the department can increase or decrease this vacancy count, so the final number of hires may not match what’s advertised.

Eligibility and STS Requirement

Applicants must have already passed the General Screening Test for the Graduation category, scoring at least 40% marks, conducted by the Sukkur IBA Testing Services (STS). You’ll need the STS-issued certificate as proof, since it’s a required document for appointment.

Age calculation follows a specific rule here. For applicants who took the test before the Sindh Civil Servants (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules 2024 came into effect on 16 October 2024, the age gets calculated from the closing date of that earlier application, which was 30 November 2021. However, a 5-year relaxation applies for those who applied after that promulgation, calculated from 12 May 2025, as detailed in Notification No. SO-II (S&GACD) 5-64/2011 (Part-II), dated 2 December 2025.

This is genuinely one of the more complex age-calculation rules we’ve seen in a Sindh government ad, so if you’re unsure which category applies to you, it’s worth confirming directly with the department before assuming your eligibility.

How to Apply

Eligible candidates should apply through the Government of Sindh’s official Job Portal at sjp.gos.pk. Applications must reach within 15 days of the advertisement’s publication date.

Since the ad appeared in Daily Nation on 10 September 2026, that puts the closing date at roughly 25 September 2026.

If you’re already working in government service, you’ll need a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your current department before submitting your application. Bring the original NOC copy with you at the time of interview, in front of the Departmental Selection Committee.

A Few Things Worth Noting

Quota reservations for the initial appointment will follow the standard Law, Rules, and Policy of the Government of Sindh. This appointment process also follows the policy notified by the Government of Sindh on 26 April 2023, under the provisions of the Sindh Civil Servants Act, 1973, as amended.

Applicants need to appear before the Departmental Selection Committee along with original documents for the interview, as scheduled on the Job Portal. No TA/DA gets paid for attending.

Since this post ties eligibility to a specific testing service certificate rather than a standard walk-in or CV-based application, it’s worth double-checking your STS status before investing time in this one.
