The Office of the District Education Officer (Primary), Keamari, has announced a Junior Clerk vacancy under Sindh’s School Education & Literacy Department. This one comes with a specific screening requirement built in from the start — you need to have already cleared the relevant test through IBA Sukkur Testing Service (STS) before you can even apply.
Position Details
Junior Clerk (BPS-11)
- Vacancies: 5
- Age: 21–28 years
- Qualification: Graduation, at least 2nd Division, from an HEC-recognized university
- Additional Requirement: A 6-month certificate course in MS Office from an institute recognized by the Sindh Board of Technical Education or Trade Testing Board
You must also hold a Domicile and Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) specifically for District Keamari. So candidates from other districts aren’t eligible here, regardless of qualifications.
STS Test Requirement
This post has a mandatory pre-screening step. You must have passed the General Screening Test for the Graduation Category, with at least 40% marks, conducted by Sukkur IBA Testing Services (STS). You’ll also need to hold the STS-issued certificate as proof, since the department requires it for appointment to this post.
Age Calculation Rules
The age-calculation method here depends on when you sat for the STS test:
- If you applied for the test before the Sindh Civil Servants (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 2024 took effect on 16 October 2024, your age gets calculated from the original closing date of 30 November 2021.
- If you applied after that date, you get a 5-year relaxation, with age calculated from 12 May 2025, per the notification from the Services, General Administration and Coordination Department.
Since this directly affects your eligibility, check which category you fall under carefully before applying, especially if you sat for the STS test some time ago and aren’t sure which cutoff applies to you.
General Terms
- The department can increase or decrease the number of posts
- The government will apply the reserved quota share for initial appointment as per law, rules, and policy
- Candidates already in government service need an NOC from their department before applying, and must bring the original NOC to the interview
- The department will make appointments per the policy notified by the Government of Sindh on 26 April 2023, under the Sindh Civil Servants Act, 1973
- Applicants must appear before the Departmental Selection Committee with original documents, per the schedule uploaded to the Job Portal
- No TA/DA will be admissible for the interview
