The Punjab Enforcement and Regulatory Authority (PERA) has issued a corrigendum correcting its earlier job advertisement, revising the position count across its Lahore headquarters and district-level offices. The updated notice, published around August 13, 2026, now lists 101 posts total — and notably, a large share of the headquarters roles are technology positions rather than the general admin/clerical mix you’d expect from a regulatory authority.
Why This Is a Corrigendum, Not a Fresh Ad
The original advertisement (IPL No. 8141) ran on August 8, 2026, in Express, City 42, Hum Insan, and The Nation, announcing 11 headquarters posts and 90 district-level positions. This new notice corrects the position breakdown under those same numbers. If you already applied against the earlier ads dated June 29, 2026, or July 6, 2026, PERA has stated those applications will still be considered — you don’t need to reapply.

These Are Contract Roles — Here’s What That Means for Pay
Unlike a standard BPS government post, these positions are offered on a contractual basis under the PERA (Appointment and Conditions of Service for Contractual Employees) Regulations, 2026, using what PERA calls the Special PERA Pay Package (SPPP) — a lump-sum, negotiable package rather than a fixed pay scale. The initial contract term is three years, extendable based on performance. If you’re comparing this to a regular government salary structure, the negotiable lump-sum format is worth factoring in before you apply.

How to Apply
Applications go through the Punjab Job Portal only (jobs.punjab.gov.pk) — PERA has explicitly stated applications submitted any other way, or without complete supporting documents uploaded on the portal, will not be entertained. There’s no hard-copy or postal option mentioned for this one, unlike some other Punjab government postings.
Deadline: August 27, 2026. Incomplete applications or ones submitted after this date will be rejected outright.
Conditions Worth Reading Before You Apply
