The Project Management and Implementation Unit (PMIU) of the Sindh Social Protection Delivery System, under Sindh Social Protection Authority (SSPA), Government of Sindh, has invited Expressions of Interest for two individual consultant positions: Senior Specialist Gender and Social Inclusion, and Back End Developer – II. The advertisement, credit number IDA/7229-PK, was published in daily Jang on 25 September 2026.
This recruitment sits apart from a typical government hiring notice in one important way, worth understanding before applying: these are individual consultant positions on a contractual basis, funded through a World Bank International Development Association (IDA) credit, not regular civil-service appointments. Selection follows the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers (November 2020) — specifically its Open Competitive Selection of Individual Consultants process — rather than standard provincial recruitment rules. There is no BPS scale or age limit stated for either post.

Conflict of Interest
Consultants applying should be aware that the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers (November 2020), Section III, paragraphs 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17, set out restrictions around conflicts of interest for individual consultants under this framework. Applicants are advised to review these provisions, available via www.worldbank.org, before applying — particularly if they have any existing relationship with the project or related entities.
