AM (Dock Maintenance) (01 post)
- Qualification: BE (Mechanical / Marine Engineering) or equivalent, PEC registered
- Experience: more than 3 years of maintenance experience in marine or heavy industrial environments
- Preferred: proven team supervision and hands-on expertise in troubleshooting, planning and shutdown execution
- Age: up to 45 years
Supervisor (HVAC) (01 post)
- Qualification: DAE (HVAC / Mechanical) or equivalent from a recognized institution
- Experience: minimum 5 years in HVAC installation, supervision, testing and commissioning, preferably in shipbuilding, ship repair, marine or heavy engineering projects
- Preferred: proficiency in installation, fabrication, ducting, piping, equipment installation, troubleshooting and workforce supervision, with good communication skills
- Age: up to 45 years
Technical Assistant (01 post)
- Qualification: DAE (Mechanical / Electrical) from a recognized institution
- Experience: 2-3 years of drafting / designing in steel structures, pressure vessels, storage tanks, heat exchangers and marine structures
- Preferred: hands-on MS Office experience and ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Age: up to 45 years
Machine Operator (03 posts)
- Qualification: Middle / Matric
- Experience: minimum 2-3 years in the relevant field
- Preferred: relevant trade course
- Age: up to 45 years
Fitter (Mechanical) (01 post)
- Qualification: Middle / Matric
- Experience: minimum 2-3 years in the relevant field
- Preferred: relevant trade course
- Age: up to 45 years
Steel Fabricator (01 post)
- Qualification: Middle / Matric
- Experience: minimum 2-3 years in the relevant field
- Preferred: relevant trade course

Two Routes for the Welding Manager Post
The Manager / DM (Welding) post offers a degree route and a diploma route. The degree route needs a BE or BSc with 5-10 years’ experience, while the diploma or B.Tech route needs 10-15 years of proven shipbuilding experience. If you hold a DAE with long shipyard experience, you are not excluded, but you need the longer experience record. It also has the highest age ceiling in the ad, 55 years, against 45 for every other post.
Trade Posts Reward Experience Over Education
Machine Operator, Fitter and Steel Fabricator ask only for Middle or Matric, but each needs 2-3 years of relevant experience, and a trade course is preferred. If you have worked in a workshop, fabrication yard or engineering facility, make that experience clear in your application, with names of employers and years worked.
